First I want to add my vote to getting the FQDN to show up instead of the IP. This is critical. Whether you are looking at reports, top talkers etc. you don't want to have to stop and have to look up the IPs to see what hostname they are referring to.
Also, if we have a service that is watching traffic we want the alert that we set up for Nagios to be able to show the top talkers. Alerting on high utilization duplicates what we have with the Interface table. It needs to go futher with the information. If we can also see who the top talkes are without have to go between tools, we start to add real value.

I know some of the dns resolution is being worked on and considered for the best way to do it, some additions to the component in XI that is similar to your second request is also being discussed. I would highly suggest posting to tracker.nagios.com and indicating your vote there, this is generally how we will pick new community requested features to add!
