Hello. We have a doubt regarding the configuration of contacts. When configured as a contact only, not as user. Default notification message can not be changed? The message follows the type of the message sent to the nagiosadmin? If changed the formatting of the message to the nagiosadmin the change is made for all contacts?

When just using users, it will use the commands specified in the following area of the Alert tab for the user (in the CCM)
Manage Host Notification Commands
Manage Service Notification Commands

You can add different commands for different users.

This again would depend on the definition of the command, see what command is specified, and make sure it has the correct path to your email program on the server.

I'm sorry but I did not understand. The command is the default when creating a new contact. Only when I create as User and contact e-mail is sent.

Users and Contacts have different commands that they use for notifications. They are not interchangeable and will need to be set correctly. Contacts use the notify-*-by-email commands and Users use the xi_*_notification_handler commands.

so why when you create a new contact configuration is set by default to xi _ * _ notification_handler

Nothing is s set by default, UNLESS you created it by cloning/copying another one that had those things selected..
