monitoring datastore clusters

We just recently started using box293's vmware monitoring plugin, and it's been working great for what we need it to do so far. I do have one question, though, and keep in mind I'm not a vmware admin, I'm just relaying the question that my vm admin asked me. Is there a way to monitor a datastore cluster, rather than each individual datastore? We have ours setup with 6 datastores as part of one cluster, and the plugin monitors each datastore just fine, but our vm admins want to see the cluster monitored and not each individual datastore if possible.

Hey how's it going,

I'm going to email Box293 with a link to this thread, he should be able to read it within the next 24 hours, if he can't get a reply out to you I'll do my best to poke around in the plugin.

Currently the plugin does not have that feature however it's a great check to add so I'll put it on the to-do list.

However I can't say when I will get to it, currently I'm thinking November sometime (I've got some travel plans that will prevent me from doing much development).

Just letting you know that I've just officially released the latest version of the plugin.

This includes the following Datastore Cluster checks:
Datastore_Cluster_Status
Datastore_Cluster_Usage

Check out the manual for full details.
