Blank Space in Network Port List

Post by mikew »

Working with a customer who has a lot, I mean a lot of network interfaces. They have added and removed a number of switches and routers so this may have created a problem that is troubling. The problem is in Reports and the network interfaces where you may select a port that is set up by MTRG, there are huge blank spaces in the lists. This makes selection unbearable. Is there any way to remove those blank spaces in the lists?

Mike, you are talking about the blank spaces in the "View Report For:" drop-down menu in the "Bandwidth Usage Report", correct? If this is the case, most probably this is caused by the fact that the RRDs still exist. One of our developers is looking into this as we speak. We may need to just "hide" these in the list. What happens when you select a "blank" space? Do you see a report?

This blank space is in Reports/Bandwidth Usage and the dropdown. 3/4 of the dropdown is empty.

Here is something else I saw that they have done which many effect how it looks. They have installed all ports and then disabled many.

Try installing this (patched) component as you would normally do (Admin->Manage Components->Browse->...->Upload Component).
