Why so many places to identify the Admin Email address?

Hello:
We are running 2014R1.4 and I have identified the following as to where the Nagios XI Administrator's Email address was needed to be defined, and am wondering as to WHY does it need to be identified in so many different areas since I had one Email address defined in one area and a different Email address defined in one or two different areas?? Talk about confusion!

1). Admin (black banner) - Users - Manage Users - nagiosadmin
I originally had my personal Email account identified here and just fixed this.

2). Admin (black banner) - System Config - Manage System Config - System Settings - General Program Settings - Administrator Email Address:
I identified a new service account here a couple of days ago.

3). Admin (black banner) - System Config - Manage Email Settings - Mail Settings - Send Mail From:
Same as 1)., above.

4). Configure (black banner) - More Options - My Account Settings - Account Information - General Account Settings - Email Address:
My personal Email address was listed, same as 1).

Additionally, this particular location appears to be a link to this path:
Home (black banner) - My Account - Account Information.
However, if you click on Home (black banner), then you do not see those menu options.

5). Configure (black banner) - More Options - System Configuration:
This appears to be a link back to 2)., above.

6). Configure (black banner) - More Options - User Management:
This appears to be a link back to 1)., above.

1.) This is the email address for the nagiosadmin XI User (and contact)

2.) I *believe* this is for any "If you experience issues, contact your Nagios Administrator" messages

3.) This is the address that will appear in the From field in emails

4.) Just another place you can edit #1 above (also same as clicking your username in the upper-right) - changes here are reflected in both locations

I believe the reason it does this is due to how the frames work - would need to talk with a dev for specifics

5.) That is correct, it links to the same place

6.) Also correct

Not being a UI designer I can't really speak for the logic behind doing it this way, but personally I like having a few different ways to get to the same page. Just saves some clicking in many cases, and a lot of the time it makes sense for a link to be in two places since it might make sense to look for it in either.

1) Used for altering of the nagiosadmin account when needed.
2) Used to provide locations for users to email admins if needed.
3) Used to define who you would like to send notifications as.
4 & 6) This is the same iframe as option 1, and you are correct that it does not display all the same options, this is intentional
5) Yes this is the same as option 2, you are correct.

1-3 all have defined and separate uses, and should be separated as you certainly could want different information for each option. 4,5, and 6 are a bit redundant I will admit, but considering the are the same pages as 1-3 no additional configuration should be needed. Are you having issues with any of these?

No real issues, just trying to understand the topography of Nagios XI and needed to clear up some confusion.

Thank you.
