what files to take as a backup (Manual copy via WinSCP)

Dear Team
As per our top SystemAdmin, he is taking care of Database backup, but he told me take back of other files, what me taking care as below, please let me know what are the files I should copy other than these (below), or let me know if me doing copy unnecessary files (you know unnecessary files copying in my external hard disk taking space and time) so your valuable advice will save my time and me will be in tension free in case total Nagios failure.
/etc/hosts
/etc/mrtg/mrtg.cfg
/usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts
/usr/local/nagios/etc/services
/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata <= its taking time, plz let me know exact files I will copy not full directory
/usr/local/nagvis <= don't know which files I have to take backup (its big folder), images, icons , graphs
