Nagios Support Forum

I am currently looking for a way for Nagios to tell me info about a few UPS on our system.

I have a very basic idea of having the UPS connected to a raspberry pi but unsure where I should go from there!

If the UPS has network connectivity I would look into SNMP. Does it not have an ethernet port?

No it doesn't that's why I was thinking of Connecting it to a PI.

That's a bit trickier then. How would you be hooking it up to the Pi? If it has a USB communication protocol that would work, but would definitely need some custom code to check it.
