We are running over 30 NagiosXI servers to monitor a number of client environments.
We had troubles with of these servers, causing it to become coruupted to a point that it is not salvageable.

We are building a new server in that environment, but we need to move that server to a different logical network.(different IP range)

We would like to re-use the license from corrupted server on the new one!
How do we do that?

I have tried to find information about managing licenses, but i guess that is one point that Nagios XI needs some improvement on!!

Can anyone tell me in (a clear way) how to do that, or point me in the right direction?

It is fairly simple. Try to use you same key for the new server build. Try to activate as normal. If you have maxed out the number of available ips, the activation process will inform you of that fact. If that is the case, contact [email protected] to remove the old ips from the license so that you can proceed with activation.
