i'm attempting to upgrade to 3.5.1 on debian wheezy (7).
i run
apt-get install nagios3 git libapache2-mod-wsgi check-mk-livestatus -y

it doesn't find 3.5.1.

what repository do i need in my /etc/apt/sources.list.d ?
i suppose it's because apt-get isn't looking in the right place.
any suggestions appreciated.

Which version does it install for you? 3.3.x? More than likely you will either need to install from upstream fedora or directly from source would be the easiest.

it reinstalls 3.4.1.
what i like about the apt-get install is that it queries me about what to do w/ existing cfg files before overwriting them.
simply untar'ing will just overwrite. sure, i back them up, but it's easy to miss a file here or there.
can u suggest a particular repository which has the 3.5.1 nagios?

tnx,
ams

I don't have a suggestion for any particular repos. Honestly, you may need to build from source.
