Hi.

I need to delete All host created in Nagios XI, more of three hundreds). I read the instrucntions about it, and deleted the dependences ( host and services), all together
( check all, and Go.. ). It seems that all is ok. For each action I Applied the configuration.

Finally Write Config File, Verfiy and Restart, BUT ¡¡¡, the hosts and the services assoaciated continue appearing.

If you go to one host and you try to delete it using the tab Configure Nagios show me the next message:

" Could not find a unique id for this host
Host cannot be deleted using this method

One or more errors were detected that prevent the host from being deleted.

Possible causes include...

The host is associated with other hosts, services, or objects that need to be deleted first
The host is maintained in a static or external configuration file

To resolve this issue...

Use the Nagios Core Configuration Manager to delete the host - or -
Manually delete the host definition from the appropriate external configuration file"

I have readen on this foro, how solve this problem, killing nagios and restart nagios by command. But the problem continue....

I have tried to delete manually the files *.cfg allocated in the folders Hosts and Services, but when I Write on the Nagios Xi, the files are created again¡¡¡, althought
the hosts and services does not appear in any place ( I deleted it... ).

Could you so kind to help us ?

Thanks.
