Weathermap in NagVis

Hi
I'm trying to install the weathermap in NagVis, but I'm having a problem. It might have something to do with permissions. I'm following the documentation for NagVis:
http://docs.nagvis.org/1.5/en_US/lines_ ... style.html - section with "How to create weathermap lines".
I'm getting this error when I try to install the plugin: "Plugin could not be installed - directory permissions may be incorrect."
Do you have any ideas to solve this problem?

Can you give us more information on how exactly you tried to implement weathermap style lines in NagVis? According to the document you referenced,
The weathermap lines do not require a specific Nagios plugin
however you received a message:
Plugin could not be installed - directory permissions may be incorrect
Did you get this message, because you tried to install the "check_iftraffic3" bandwidth measurement plugin?
Do you have any permissions issues if you try to install other plugins?

Well. You're right about the first statement. I must have misunderstood, becourse I read the "Focus on bandwidth visualization" -section. I downloaded the "check_iftraffic3" and tried to install it. From that I got the error. I also tried with another plugin and got the same result.
I tried working with the NagVis and editing the map. It seems to be loading a lot, even with only two hosts. I'm not sure if this problem is related to the plugin-issue.

If the plugin is not installed properly because of the permission or other issues it would not work.
When you said:
I also tried with another plugin and got the same result.
did you mean you were not able to install the plugin, or the plugin installed but you were still not able to view the graphs?

I found another plugin on
http://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins but I got the same response when I tried to install it (Plugin could not be installed...).
In my opinion, weathermap seems to be a very interesting feature in Nagios, but I'm unsure if it's something I can use. I'm a networkadministrator and I need a product that can monitor around 500 network devices. Therefore the product must be able to be very automatic. Does anyone know if NagiosXI and Weathermap can make all weathermap lines automatic? And with about 500 devices, does anyone know if it's possible to make the map zoomable?
EDIT: Maybe the question should be: Is it possible to make the automap able to insert weathermap lines?

Unfortunately we don't have any documentation on this topic. Since this is a community addon, I would recommend going through the NagVis documentation:
http://docs.nagvis.org/1.5/en_US/index.html and posting the question on their forum.
