I found my Nagios web interface broken last night. Nagios is still running, but I can't get to the web interface. As far as I know, the only changes that occurred was the Nagios VM being moved to new hardware with VMotion. No IP addresses changed or anything like that.
I tried rebooting the system, restarting nagios, restarting httpd. No results.
Can anyone please suggest some troubleshooting steps?
Thanks!

Okay, now that I'm actually *awake* let's provide you with some more information.
Latest version of Nagios XI, running on CentOS, using the VMWare image provided. No special configurations.
I am seeing errors in the httpd log:
There was a post this weekend from coloradojay, looking like a similar issue. However, in my case the socket file does not exist, and re-starting mysqld does not recreate it.

Re: Web server broken
Re-starting mysqld without first stopping nagios recreated the file.
This can be marked as resolved.
