BPI group status not looking at downtime

Hello,

Just noticed that although some hosts of a bpi group are in downtime, the bpi group does not seem to take that into account. Is this a known issue?

I was able to recreate the issue and posted an internal bug report (TASK ID 4579).

Thanks Ludmill. Glad you don't say "Make a feature request..." :) This is quite an annoying issue as I'm constantly saying people to put things in downtime. Now they did and it didn't work for the Exchange bpi group...

Can you let this thread open untill it is fixed? Thanks!

Sure, I will keep this open. In my opinion this is a bug, so I posted it as a "bug". But it could be a feature request as well... depending on how you are going to look at it... :)

WillemDH,

Can you confirm that in Admin -> Manage Components when you click into Nagios BPI's component configuration that you have checked the box that says "Ignore host and service problems that are acknowledged or in scheduled downtime.Handled problems will not be factored into the group's problem percentage." I believe this works. I tested services and hosts in downtime with this selected and it worked fine. I think that there should definitely be a link to this settings page from the actual BPI page so I will probably add that in right now.

Hey Jake,

I didn't knew this option existed. Checked the checkbox today. I guess it will work as expected now. You can close this thread. Thanks for the help!
