Is there a good way to add a list of ldap servers to monitor for response time (with the ldap ) using the same bind credentials and base, rather than entering each one manually with the Monitoring Wizard?

Thank you for your help

You might be able to use the bulk host cloning wizard.

You can define service template with those parameters and use that service temple in services for different LDAP checks.
Or you can define command with those parameters and use it in LDPA service checks.

Good options guys, @questrad let us know what you think/try, these are both fairly standard practices employed regularly for this purpose.

You mean what I think?
So, we are use the both way in our NagiosXI servers configuration for different type of service checks.
Even for host checks.
Our host checks is include only template where is defined all defaults, even contact group based on OS type
Windows goes to Windows guys, Linux goes to Linux guys.
Almost same for services.
