pattern and filter in nagios log server

We have some new patterns and filters for the log, i know we can put filter through web interface. however, where can we put our own patterns? thanks.

In the web interface, you can go to Administration -> Global Configuration to add inputs, filters, and outputs.

You can click the Add Input or Add Filter options above the listed inputs and filters to create a new one.
