Nagios Support Forum

I know this doesn't go here, but there is no forum for help with the forum.

I noticed today that it had been awfully quiet on the Nagios front since mid-December. "No worries," I thought, "everyone is enjoying the holiday season. Nay nay. Turns out that I wasn't getting emailed for forum subscriptions. I logged in, logged out, logged back in, marked all topics read, and lo and behold, three wisemen (in the form of three new topic notifications) appeared to me this afternoon.

Not sure if it was just me or what, but Nagios Enterprises, you might want to do a monthly "hey, you're still subscribed to these Nagios Forum forums" email or something. Don't know if phpBB can do that or not.

I'll make sure to bring this up. We haven't heard of any other complaints, but if I find time I'll be sure to test it out. Did you check your flux capacitor?

My flux capacitor was missing. I think it was stolen to make a new Arc reactor.

Are you subbed to all posts by default or are you subbing only to those you are interested in? I assume the first but wanted to make sure.

Let me know if you got the email for this one.

The former. I'm getting emails now, but I haven't yet verified if I'm getting ALL emails now. Hey, at least I had a quiet holiday!

I subbed specifically to this thread and got your reply, so idk. Looks to be working now, maybe check over the next 15 to see if other replies are coming in. If not we can dig deeper and see what's up.

I'm sure it has something to do with me just being subscribed to everything and maybe that timed out after a year or something. I dunno. Seems to be working. Go back to playing Tetris or whatever you do when I'm not solving your tickets.
