Multistacked Graph ordering

Is there anyway I can make the items I add into a multistacked graph obey the order I am adding them? I thought this was an old request that was fixed or am I remembering incorrectly?

I made this feature request some time ago. It is very confusing to have multiple dashlets on a dashboard where the same metric has different colors..

for me the issue is I have servers with numbers in them and I want them listed in a specific order and it took me two hours to list 5 servers my specific order

If they manage to order added metrics alphabetically, would that solve your issue? (For me it would)
