No Email Notification to our Customer

Dear Expert

Me added one of our customer email to receive Alert Notification. Added all the possible options, initially just single and not working then added additional but no success.

I checked from HOME Incident Management NOTIFICATIONS and nil (no result), it means no Notification generated. As me done at least 10 times, finally I went to ADMIN MANAGE USERS ADD USER (checked) Create as Monitoring Contact: and everything fine (even no need Apply Config).

You will say if everything fine then why me raising question? Dear Expert, I don't want our 1000 customer email in Admin Users, why I have to add them as User? I tried (trial and error) later to remove but as I removed again Notification get stopped. If me adding as a CONFIGURE CONTACT with all options set to ON for alert why NOTIFICATION not generating?

Dear Tgriep

The second document was explaining in detail , I did but failed in First Attempt. I will not try more and will go ahead with adding contacts via Admin Manage Users.

Why so complicated?
