monitor WebSphere Applicaiton Server on windows machine

Hello,

I am having trouble monitoring websphere applicaiton server jvms. we have installed Nagios XI on to the linux box, everything is working fine, but now we have installed WebSphere Application Server (WAS) on to windows machine and we would like to monitor that. can someone please help me how to do that.

yes, but not finding helpful solution to this. again trying to monitor WebSphere Application Server which is installed on Windows machine, and we have ngaios xi installed on linux box.
please any help with this.

Can you elaborate? What have you tried so far? Can you show us the errors/issues you were getting? Post a screenshot if you need to.
What you need to do is:
1. Decide which plugin you would like to use
2. Test it to make sure it works from the command line
3. If it doesn't work, try another plugin and if it works, proceed to setting up a command/service in Nagios XI.

The link you send, if we do that approach will it work. because what i am thinking is, that we have installed nagios xi on linux, and we have remote window machine where we installed websphere. will that monitor websphere jvms etc..?

It depends on what method you choose to check the system with. If you are using a plugin that runs from XI and connects directly to the websphere service then you shouldn't have to do anything on the windows system. But if you are trying to call a plugin which runs locally then you would need to set up an agent on the system to call it via XI.
