Hi Team,

We have a request from our technical teams to format the email template to show the status of the service in color - Red in case the service is in critical status, amber for warning and green for OK. Could you please let us know if this possible? do we have any add-ons which will help us achieve this?

I presume you are looking to do this with html markup?
This is not currently an option in XI - you would need to add some code to the notification php scripts.
It is not a bad feature request - open a request at tracker.nagios.com.
If you need this created immediately, contact [email protected] for a custom development quote.

I think you looking for this one. I have tried it - and it works as expected - your email client just need to support HTML :)

You can type any "custom" message in the "Host Alert Message" and "Service Alert Message" fields. You can use macros, and html/css tags to show some color. Here's an example of a "custom" host/service alert messages with some color

RIDS_I2MP, have you had a chance to try the solution from questrad's post?
