User Permission

Hi all,

I would like if there is something in the enhancement queue for Nagios XI which is about user permission in the GUI.
One feature my customers really ask is to be able to limit edition capabilities based on server or at least based on groups of servers.
This has something to do with user profile. We can specify which groups of servers each user can edit...

Another thing is to be able to check one log in order to find who modified what. The Config Manager log only report when but does not report who ...

Many thanks for your answer.

Francois

On your first question:

Please, check this document - it will give you an idea how you can manager user rights and permissions in Nagios XI:

http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... Rights.pdf

On your second question:

Go to the Core Config Manager and click on the "Config Manager Log" under "Config Manager Admin" from the left panel menu. You can see the NagiosQL Log, where all of the configuration changes will be listed. In the "user" column, you will find the particular user who actually did the changes.
