Is LDAP or AD authentication on the product roadmap for NLS?

I'm moving from POC to Production this week and I'm dreading the user complaints as I set them up with new accounts in Production.

I looked in our tracker and don't see it as an existing feature request. If you'd like I can submit it to the developers however it certainly won't be done for you this week.

Would you like it submitted as a feature request?

Absolutely. NLS is going to be a Sumo / Splunk replacement for us and I have a lot of users needing access to it. Ideally, as the Nagios Enterprise product suite develops, I'd like to see a move towards LDAP group --> role-based authentication & authorization. At this point, I'll settle for the same LDAP password authentication as we see in NagiosXI.

Wasn't really expecting it next week, but it will be greatly appreciated as soon as it's available.

The feature has been assigned and is being worked on. I can't promise anything, but based upon the current status I'd guess it will be in the next major release - which I also cannot promise or comment on the date of.

That said, I bumped the priority since we have had an additional request.

To follow up, I'm now using the Netflow Analyzer and REALLY like how you've done AD there.
