Upgrading a user from User to Admin requires PW change?

Seems that I'm not able to change a user from user level to admin level without them putting in their password or resetting it.
This is not helpful. Can someone drop a request in to have this fixed?

Wow, good catch. Already fixed for next release.

Yeah, my Director didn't like the fact he had to come over to my desk and enter his password...

Unzip the attached and place in
/var/www/html/nagioslogserver/application/controllers/admin.php
