Hello

There appears to be a discrepancy between the "Update Check" widget and my actual version of Nagios Log Server. A quick background, I've updated my NLS cluster from 2015R1.2b to 2015R1.3 from source, using ./upgrade as per the update instructions:

Code: Select all

sudo ./upgrade
Archive: sourceguardian/ixed4.lin.x86-64.zip
  inflating: /usr/lib64/php/modules/ixed.5.3.lin
Sourceguardian extension found for PHP version 5.3
Sourceguardian extension already in php.ini

Nagios Log Server Upgrade Complete!

You can access the Nagios Log Server web interface by visiting:
    http://***/nagioslogserver/
When I navigate back to any server on the cluster, I see that there is the same update notice as well as the latest version displayed (bottom of the page). Screenshot is attached.

Is this a bug or have a failed to update my cluster properly? Thank you for your time.

Jason

The server only runs the "Update Check" daily. the lower left of your screen shows 2015R1.3

Scott - thank you for your reply. As mentioned in my post, I realize that the version was correct at the bottom. The question was simply regarding the widget with the update notice. Shouldn't re-starting the NLS cluster re-run the update check?

Currently it does not, but I believe we will add that in future versions to perform the update check after upgrading.
