Hi Team,

please help me in fulfilling this requirement.

i need to create separate templates for Linux servers and windows servers which should monitor cpu memory and disk usage and alert has to go for all services.

And i need to add around 100 machines using this template, so what all settings and alerts i have configured in that template has to replicate in other machines also.

Please help in doing this as i am unable to find any such options in host or service templates.

There are a few methods to do this, though I would suggest deploying a hostgroup with the template and then adding the hostgroup to the desired generic service checks.
1. Basically, create a hostgroup for these checks.
2. Then create the desired service check definitions and add the previously created hostgroup to those service checks (do not add any hosts to the service checks).
3. Create a template and add the hostgroup to the template.
4. Finally add the template to the desired hosts - they should now inherit the hostgroup from the template and subsequently the service checks associated with the hostgroup.
