I need to modify a set of hosts and services to have new contact groups added to them and remove one contact group.

When I attempt to remove a contact group I see all of the relationships that a contact group has and I am able to remove the group without issue. When looking to add a group however I am greeted with what seems to be a bug or maybe I am missing something..?
I can see the list of contacts or contact groups if I go into that but I am unable to select hosts or services. Clicking on the "select hosts" or "select services" buttons do nothing. See screenshot.

There were a number of changes to this component over the past few updates. Is updating to 2.6 a possibility?

Both our test environment and our production environment show the same thing. If we update it will take some time to review changes, schedule tests and get approval. Does the update fix this?

Possibly. Lets see if there are any apache or browser errors. Browse to the page in question and click "select services" then get a tail from the apache log: Also, pull up your browser console with crtl-shift-j and post any errors you see there.

Under net it shows that I access:

nagiosxi/includes/components/bulkmodifications/bulkmodifications.php

but it doesn't go show me any output for having selected services.

I've used ie, mozilla and chrome.

I recreated another instance of our current environment. Sure enough an update fixes this issue. A window pops up listing the server or services to add the contact/contact group. You can close this request.

I can see a bulk modifications bug fix in 2014R2.2:

If an upgrade to the latest doesn't fix the issue, I would recommend opening a new ticket in our email ticketing system by emailing us at [email protected]. We may need to schedule a remote session to further troubleshoot the issue.
