"Binary translation is incompatible with long mode on this platform. long mode will be disabled in this virtual environment and applications requiring long mode will not function properly as a result." is thers any way to run Nagios VM on a single core VMware player?
Thanks,

Hi yding532

Do you have Intel VTx enabled in this system BIOS? I think doing that will resolve this issue.

Hi,

I'm new to this system. I downloaded nagios XI vm and also the player known as Workstation Player. I loaded everything but I keep getting the error that states my Intel VX has is disable. I checked my BIOS but I couldn't find it, is there anyway I can work around it?

Can you post a screenshot of the exact error?

Here is a screenshot,I'm busy getting centOS and I already have nagios XI source I'll check if that works. O and how can I access locally on nagios XI? I don't want to upload it to a server just to my laptop thats all. Thanks

You will need to download the 32-bit VM.

If VTx is not enabled in the bios you won't be able to run 64-bit VM.
