bulk modification of notification options

Hi All,
is there any way we can do a bulk modification of notification options for all hosts and services.
i can see only notifcation interval and notifications enabled.
Please help

1. Is there any way we can assign one event handler say notify-by-sms to host groups and service groups.

Not especially. You would want to set this on a template, but templates cannot be deployed through groups.
