(Nagios restart) bash: service: command not found

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to fix my issue, the thing is when i use "service nagios restart" to restart my nagios it say's bash: service: command not found ,it is just today that i cannot use that command, however if i use /etc/rc.d/init.d/nagios restart , my nagios is restarting, i just want to use again the service nagios restart command :mrgreen:

What OS and version is this under? And are you saying that it worked before but does not now? Quite odd.

Thanks for replying ,when i comeback to work the next day, I can run again the command , as you just say it is very odd :shock:

Let us know what you find out. We can certainly help with the Nagios side of things but when it comes to system administration we might need to point you elsewhere if it gets too far out of scope.
