Odd question.

We have a firewall setup where we have two different firewalls. If the links on the standby come online, that means that there is a network issue.

Most of the SNMP monitoring checks I can find in Nagios XI give an alert for operational down status. Is there anyway to create one of these that the alert is generated for an operational up status?

This question is almost always answered by pointing out the negate plugin:

It's wildly powerful, ridiculously simple and also hardly known about. It is already included in your XI install.
