Forums search function is too restrictive

When I try and search for "Write Config Files" in the forums I get the following response.
The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: config files write.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards.
That's kinda frustrating. I mean I am trying to search for information using the name of a menu in Nagios XI. So instead I search for "Write monitoring data" and I get the same problem. See screenshot for an example of what I mean.
Example of strings I am trying to search for.jpg

There are lots of search phrases that contain words that are too common like "performance graphs". Surely this is one of the key features of Nagios XI and not being able to search the forums to find information about it is counter-intuitive.

How would you search the forums for "Write Config Files" or "performance graphs"?

I too see the same problem and Google can't see half(any of??) the forum.

This is defiantly not the correct place to complain about the forum though. I can see this topic becoming a pile of useless and unsorted complaints.

If you have more issues with the forum or any other issues to [email protected].

We just changed the search settings to fix this. You should see better results for common words now. :-)
