nagios bug 534

I'm running into the problem that is described in nagios tracker #534. It's listed for nagios 4.0.1. I'm running 4.0.8. I know I'm being paranoid, but I just want to confirm that I can use that same patch on 4.0.8.

What specific error are you getting? That patch was specific for 4.0.1, and would have been incorporated into the base. That patch could not get applied twice.

The logs are getting filled with lines like this:

It looks like the patch is still valid, go ahead and apply the patch and recompile.
