Hi everybody !!!!
Do you know if exist an API that another system could call to invoke an "Action Command" that was previously configurated on Nagios XI?
We need to allow that an external application can request to Nagios the execution of one "Action Command" ,and that Nagios does it and share the status of the execution of this "Action Command".
Thanks for your help !!!!

Could you clarify "action Command"?
Do you mean configured quick actions, global events, or just any of the standard external command actions? Or something else?

I talked with a developer and he said there is not currently a way to access those through the API because of the way it's architected, I've created a feature request for it:
Code: Select all
NEW TASK ID 5530 created - Nagios XI Feature Request: Add API access to run actions component commands

Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA. Bug fixes have priority over the feature requests. It is hard to say how long it will take before this functionality is implemented.
