I have a weird issue with the search box.

I search for "prodebs - blocking locks" and the two items appear. I search for "prodebs - concurrent manager" and it says no services found. Yet there are 2 and I can view them with no issue. I even copied and pasted form the service details page and it still won't find it.

Do they show if you just use the leading work "prodebs"?
I wonder if there is an issue in ze database. . . .

Nope, they sure don't display when I do that.

They show up if I search without the leading word....weird

I just removed and retyped in the description. They now just showed up as new services on the host in pending state. I can now search for them too....weird!

Are you doing this search following an Apply Config or nagios service restart?

When I fixed it, yes. Sorry if I wasn't clear in my last post....I went into the CCM, re-entered the service description and applied configuration. Now everything is working as expected. Must have been an invisible garbage character in the field or something.

^This. I actually wish we got a query for the config/host name of the object from the ndo and ql dbs to see if there was a character that should be sanitized/flagged as an illegal.
