Hi,

Wanted to know if there is a mechanism we can mass deploy the nrpe agents on servers. I do not want the over head of installing the agent manually on each server rather looking for a way to do it at once. for NSclient I know we can do it through SCCM but not sure on unix machines. Any help would be appreciable.

There is this on the Exchange. I have not used it so I can't confirm or deny how well it works.

Do you not have a way of mass deploying packages today? If not I suggest you get to know puppet or chef. There are a lot of wonderful youtube videos to get you started and they're both very fun and rewarding projects to use.
