What do?
deactivated but not deactivated.png
Version 2014R2.5. Deactivated these service checks but they're still there.

Gave you tried deleting all the configs and rewriting them?
CCM --> Write Config Files --> Delete --> Write --> Verify.
Then apply configuration.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what that does, but wouldn't that nuke everything in Nagios?

"Delete" removes the hosts and services configs. "Write" will rewrite them (and apply config will actually rewrite them as well as apply config will compare your objects configs on disk to those in the db and write out any of those that are missing or that need updating). "Verify" . . well, you know what that does.
Do not click "Restart though", as that restarts the nagios process without the snapshot logic. Once the files are deleted, rewritten, and then verified, run apply configuration.

Gotcha. Yep, that took care of it, thanks!

No problem! You may want to consider upgrading to the newest version of XI (if you have not done so). There was a small bug in the CCM prior to 2014r2.6 on cent/rhel 7 systems.

We're still on CentOS 6.5. I'm actually hoping to hold out until the next major release of XI. Not sure when it'll be ready, but I was planning on waiting until then to upgrade unless some other immediate need to update comes up.
