I would like ti insert a link on Nagios home page pointing to different Nagios server, I'm running nagios core 3.5 which file I need to modify ?

Somewhere in your nagios installation you'll have a 'side.php' - on my 3.5.1 install (RHEL RPM install) it's at /usr/share/nagios/html/side.php. I suspect that's where you'll want to put in your links.
