Hi,

I'm looking for a sms gateway for my Nagios, what do you recommend?
physical? virtual? what sms gateway are you using?

We have a Nagios XI document that specifically mentions MultiTech: https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ith_XI.pdf

I think it's a good idea to let the community chime in on this one, I haven't played with SMS gateways enough to know which ones are more recommended.

It all depends. if you are just trying to get text messages went, you could just send email to proper SMS email gateway for the relevant mobile provider for the contact.

If you are looking for a DR solution to send SMS through a dedicated GSM connection (if your internet connection goes down), I would suggest looking at the multitech products. They use a very simple web API that can easily be scripted for.
