Nagios translations

Hello. I want to try translate nagios core 4.0.8 to Russian. Can some body give me a tips how to do it?
We do not use gettext in Nagios Core so you would really need to modify the source and do a line by line translation, we do offer Russian language support in Nagios XI.
You best bet would be to fork Nagios Core on github to work on it:
