Check your configuration file(s) to ensure that they contain valid
directives and data defintions. If you are upgrading from a previous
version of Nagios, you should be aware that some variables/definitions
may have been removed or modified in this version. Make sure to read
the HTML documentation regarding the config files, as well as the
'Whats New' section to find out what has changed.

What XI version are you on?

Go to Configure -> Core Config Manager, then on the left under Tools click Write Config Files. Then click Delete, then Write, then Verify and post a screenshot.

Your XI version is quite old. There have been a lot of improvements in both XI in general, and the CCM specifically. The current latest release is 2014R2.7 and I would strongly urge you to update before we continue troubleshooting.
