Nagiosgraph can monitor Bandwidth of devices?
Re: Nagiosgraph can monitor Bandwidth of devices?
My point is that nagiosgraph can do the same thing that mrtg?, graph the bandwidth interfaces, my mrtg runs fine y monitored switch and routers interfaces and looks good, for now i disabled the switch monitoring because i am testing devices and i cant active switch monitoring and mrtg for some issues that i have in the work. But im going to try to send you screenshoot, how can i post a screenshot here?

no. Nagiosgraph as well as pnp4nagios are just graphing utilities. Your checks need to return performance data in order to rolled into rrds and then subsequently graphed.Jessuzz94 wrote:My point is that nagiosgraph can do the same thing that mrtg?

Ok, i enabled the switch monitoring and the bandwidth interfaces. this is the performance data of port 3 bandwidth, it can be monitoring by nagiosgraph?, like the grap of mrtg?

See the values for the "Performance Data" row? It looks like you have valid performance data, so you should be ok to implement nagiosgraph or pnp4nagios (I prefer pnp4nagios).

But how to add?, i search in google and i cant found information about implement monitoring bandwidth interfaces of switches with nagiosgraph, pnp4nagios is more easy?

....
I have covered this multiple times. But yes, pnp4nagios is considerably easier.

Re: Nagiosgraph can monitor Bandwidth of devices?
The installation is clearly outlined at the link provided by Box293. Alternatively pnp4nagios website is also very well documented.
Re: Nagiosgraph can monitor Bandwidth of devices?
Is better monitor the bandwidth of the interfaces with pnp4nagios or mrtg?
