Predictive monitoring and analysis in Nagios

I am trying to simulate use case of Predictive monitoring and analysis in Nagios. I dont know how do i achieve this. Need help on it.

I can see Capacity Planning Graphs but hard to undertand & read......is there any doc available other than below so that it will easy to explain

The Capacity Planning Report allows you to project future growth based on historical trends. I recommend watching
this video, and reading
this document.
First, you will enter a hostname and select a time period. You can choose an extrapolation method. I am leaving mine at default.

After pressing 'Go,' you will see a list of graphs that will first take your historical information (in blue) and run it through your selected algorithm to attempt future prediction.

This feature is especially useful for metrics like processor performance, drive space remaining, memory usage, etc. Please click the 'Table' button for further information:

What is this different Extrapolation Method ?

It's the mathematical method used to determine future prediction. I recommend leaving it at default unless you have a preference. I don't have any knowledge about the differences between the methods, but you are free to experiment as you wish!
