Hello,

I am using nagios 4.0.8 core and it was working fine still yesterday and suddenly it stopped sending notifications.

My observations:

1)nagios.log shows service alerts and host alerts.
2)maillog does not show any mails been sent.
3)under nagios.cfg the enable notifications is 1.
4)I am able to send mails using nagios user.

Please help me in finding the problem.

If you send a custom notification from a host or service, does it get sent?

Nagios log file should show it being sent.

Your mail server should show it being sent, depending on your mail config.
