Mail problems from nagios.com

Dear admins,

I tried to use the mail address but that address (******@nagios.com) does not exist.

Please excuse me for putting it on the forum.
If this message is misplaced here please feel free to move this message to the correct place



Hi,

Just want to tell you that your mail is bouncing back because you have not set up (or your ISP) a correct reverse DNS entry for the mailserver from which you are emailing.

For that reason our ISP is blocking all e-mail from you. And I cannot register on the forum with my business mail address (I am sending this mail from a private address)

Could you please fix the problem so I can register with my business mail address?

Sorry, I didn't know you were trying to lookup the PTR on an IPv6 address. I'll forward this info to the appropriate individuals, but I can't promise results. You might consider disabling IPv6 on your mail server - the world isn't ready.

This is IPv4

I am talking about IPv6

reject: RCPT from unknown[2600:3c00::f03c:91ff:fedf:d6ac]

I have no influence on the config of the mailserver of the ISP .. They use this as a security measurement so it will not be disabled.
I know IPv6 is still not ready in the world.. but if we don't work on it, it will never be.. (the need gets higher more and more)

Try it again. Looks like our mail admin added the AAAA record for support.nagios.com

Will wait a few days.
It could take some time before all DNS are up-2-date.

We asked our mail admin for an update and have yet to get a response. Will post back when we know more.
