import historical data

I have an old nagios core server with a few host and services that want to export my nagios xi.
I have no problems in importing configuration files.
But I would like to import historical information, mail, events, faults, rrd files, etc.
possible and how?

You should be able to use this awesome component for merging the RRD files:

We don't have a built in way to import the other stuff, it might be possible but would take some scripting on your end to parse and import into the DB.
