Dear Team,


Please clarify my queries:

1. What database Nagios Log Server using?
2. If mysql what is the single file limit , is it 10GB MAX
3. Can we get alert based on the thresholds which we have set into nagios log server.
4. For sending alert nagios log server is enough or nagios core or nagios xi required?
5. Nagios Log server can monitor SunSolaris logs?
6. How we can add individual file from one machine to send logs to nagios log server...

4.) You can either send directly from Logserver, or you can integrate with XI/Core
5.) As long as those logs can be sent to Logserver via rsyslog or something similar, then yes
