Hi Guys,

I'd like to seek your NAGIOS expertise please.

I have a problen with the SMTP service. In my NAGIOS monitoring site, the host shows that there is SMTP server however; it's not configured. I have attached screenshots for your reference.

As you can see on the screentshot, it should only monitor the PDU Load as configured. But the SMTP service is running even though they're not configured.

Is it possible that the host is in a hostgroup that the service is attached to? The easiest way to trace it would be to find the service definition with service_description "SMTP" and see what it's applied to. Note that things can come down from templates too.
