host escalation issue

I had a downed host that did not escalate last night. I am pretty sure the time period is to blame ? Is the time period opposite of what it should be, meaning have I exuded the time instead on including it ?

Can you show us the State History report from the same time frame for the "dfwrtr" host and the host escalation config?

Instead of using the following format for the timeperiod:

monday 18:00-03:00
try using "00:00-03:00,18:00-24:00" for each day, i.e.

Code: Select all

monday 00:00-03:00,18:00-24:00
Let us know if this fixed your issue.

Ironically we had an outage last night which proved your suggestion was correct.Please close the issue
