Are you asking how to add this feature from Nagios XI to Nagios Core? Nagios Core is open source and you can make whatever modifications to it that you want, but we are unable to support those. If you're looking for custom features in Nagios Core, you can contact

What services would you like to monitor on those hosts (192.168.0.0 / 172.16.0.0)? This will help us point you in the right direction.
If you're still referring to http and ping, then you can use check_http, and check_ping in Nagios core.
