Hi guys and greetings from Spain,
We have detected an issue with a fresh install of nagios core 4.1.1 and web browsers with spanish language configured.
If we try to get nagios main page, we receive an Not running message and a 'Whoops! Error: Could not read object configuration data!' if we try to access to any menu (host groups, etc...)
Workaround: change web browser language to English.
bye!

Hello - some questions:
1) What browser/version?
2) Is this happening on multiple browsers?
3) When did you install core, we put a couple of fixes in for language related issues roughly a week ago.
4) What OS are you on when you are having this issue?

I believe this might have been fixed in a recent commit:
https://github.com/NagiosEnterprises/na ... a456986afc
The issue originally was with the Russian language, but a user with a Spanish environment reported it as well. The upgrade seemed to have worked for them, so you might try downloading and installing this newest version:

Hello,
Thanks for the information! Could you please grab some errors out of Chrome if possible? If you look through
this thread, you can get a view into what our main core developer is looking for out of the Firefox/Firebug log.
